In 1992, before my household got its first computer, my mother brought home a used electronic Smith-Corona word processor. The glowing blue screen (consisting of 8 or 10 lines of high-contrast white text) first attracted my curious mind to the world of writing.
Long after the early days on that word processor, I had the pleasure of being paid to do something I love. I admire a good essay, and my tone of reflective narration in my writing illustrates that. Over the course of my career I’ve also had experience with objective journalism, biographical articles, how-to articles, and reviews. I also have experience organizing, hosting, and editing one-on-one and roundtable discussions.
