Getting Somewhere

A few sections are looking like I want them to look now. This site template was laid out very well–things are modular and very clearly written in the code, allowing me to make it into the site I wanted very quickly. One of the quirky things that attracted me to the template is the flash panel across the top of the page. I spent some time replacing the stock .swf (a bunch of erratically flashing typographics) with my own (a couple little red-pen antics) a couple of days ago when the site first went up. Once I’m done building the portfolio sections, my next test ought to be attempting manual integration of a flash menu within the WordPress site. It couldn’t be that difficult, could it?

JoeCallan.com

Well, I had my name pointing to another of my domains, but it’s been hiding in the redirect shadows for long enough. I’ve decided to split my personal website into another entity here at JoeCallan.com.  There’s not much to it right now–I’m working on moving everything over, personalizing the template and fixing the links.  Stay tuned.
